Delimit.

Service Scope and Operational Boundaries

Caring Companion Caregivers delivers structured, non-acute in-home care designed to sustain personal independence, household order, and daily routine stability. Our authorized service matrix is categorized into six defined tiers:

1. Companionship: Social presence, conversational focus, board and card games, reading aloud, escorted walking, and community outings.

2. Personal Care: Dignified daily assistance with bathing, showering transfers, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, commode and toileting support, and bed repositioning.

3. Nursing Services: Supervised professional tasks including vitals tracking, routine catheter hygiene checks, wound dressing oversight, and medication regimen coordination.

4. Medication Management: Scheduled administration prompts, prescription box verification against physician orders, dose logging, and refill communication.

5. Housekeeping: High-touch surface sanitation, kitchen cleanliness, linen washing, laundry cycle execution, and floor hazard mitigation.

6. Mentoring: Targeted daily living instruction, visual schedule reinforcement, transit skills practice, and routine tracking for individuals with developmental disabilities.

The agency does not operate emergency medical ambulances, perform invasive surgical procedures, administer unverified off-label pharmacotherapies, manage volatile psychological crises requiring physical restraint, or substitute for acute intensive hospital treatment. Clients requiring continuous life support or acute medical diagnosis must engage appropriate tertiary clinical providers.

Inquiry-Only Portal Status and Non-Binding Estimates

The digital platform at caringcompanioncaregivers.us functions strictly as an intake consultation, service education, and preliminary assessment portal. Nothing on this website constitutes a binding electronic commercial sale, instantaneous credit card charge, or automatic guarantee of staffing.

All figures, budget calculators, and cost outputs generated via our Care Hours & Cost Estimator represent estimated guidance derived from confirmed hourly baselines ($25.15 to $45.00 per hour). These outputs do not constitute a fixed contractual bid.

An inquiry transforms into an authorized care agreement only after:

  1. Completion of an initial telephone or video intake interview with our care management team;
  2. Execution of an in-person physical home safety and mobility assessment by Gemma Ben Sunga, Andrea Gillam, or an authorized supervisory coordinator;
  3. Verification of physician medication and nursing orders where applicable; and
  4. Physical or verified electronic countersignature of an individualized Client Plan of Care specifying approved hours, caregiver assignments, and confirmed billing schedules.

Fee Architecture, Rate Dependencies, and Currency

All billing is calculated, invoiced, and payable exclusively in United States Dollars (USD $). The agency charges on an hourly visit basis in adherence to the operator-confirmed fee structure:

Care Category Hourly Rate (USD) Minimum Booking
Companionship $26.48 – $45.00 / hr 2 consecutive hours
Personal Care $26.48 – $45.00 / hr 2 consecutive hours
Nursing Services $39.40 / hr Flat supervisory tier
Medication Management $26.48 – $45.00 / hr 2 consecutive hours
Housekeeping $25.15 – $28.80 / hr 2 consecutive hours
Mentoring $26.48 – $45.00 / hr 2 consecutive hours

Where a range exists, the exact applied bill rate is governed directly by seven documented factors:

  • Required physical care complexity (e.g., independent transfers vs. two-person mechanical lift operations);
  • Assigned staff professional qualifications (companion aide vs. Certified Nursing Assistant vs. Registered Nurse);
  • Shift scheduling window (standard daytime hours vs. weekend shifts carrying an 8–10% differential vs. overnight shifts carrying an 11–15% differential);
  • Visit frequency and total contracted weekly volume;
  • Intake lead time (standard 24 to 48 hours vs. expedited same-day response);
  • Assigned geographic territory within the Portland metropolitan area or outlying rural zones; and
  • Specialized behavioral or cognitive memory protocols.

All scheduled visits require a strict minimum commitment of two (2) consecutive hours. Invoices are issued bi-weekly and become payable upon receipt via approved electronic funds transfer, verified check, or private long-term care insurance assignment.
